About me

I started work in 1985 in Retail Banking in The Strand, London where I stayed for 5 years in the Foreign Exchange Department.

I then joined INVESCO Fund Managers in the City where I worked for 11 years. I was responsible for a team of 6 staff and liaised with Fund Managers and Financial Advisers to resolve inquiries. After having my 2nd child I decided to leave INVESCO to stay at home to spend more time with my family.

After a 5 year break, I was lucky enough to be offered a job with a Financial Management Company in Bishops Stortford which fitted around school hours, and after a couple of years, the company was acquired by Enable/AFH Wealth Management.

Enable/AFH Wealth Management Bishop’s Stortford did a ‘Come Dine with Me’ event with a couple of other local Companies a few years ago raising funds for a local charity.

We have completed a Masterchef day in Cambridge and to prove that eating is not the only thing we do, we did a walking weekend in the Lakes and a terrifying day out at ‘Go Ape’ swinging from trees at a great height! Plus, if you walk past our office on a Monday night you will see a few of us jumping around and looking very red-faced working out with our personal trainer!

I live in Bishops Stortford with my husband and 2 children.
